Paying Your Bill

Funding your education can be a big decision, but we are here to help! There are many different ways that Online students choose to pay for their degree, and below you will find helpful information for navigating the process.

 

Where can I see my bill?

You can view your Student Account information online by logging into CaneLink. Once you have logged in, under the “Student Dashboard” click on the “Financials” section, then on the “Payments/Account Summary” link.

What methods of payment are offered by the University?

Online Payments via CaneLink:

  • Credit Card *A 2.3% convenience fee is assessed for each transaction
  • Online Checking Account  *There is no fee to use this service
  • Wire Transfer

In-person or by mail:

  • Personal Check
  • Cashiers/Bank Check
  • Cash
  • Money orders

What address can I mail payments to?

Payments must be in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank and must be made payable to "University of Miami". They must include the student's identification number and name to ensure credit to the student's account.

May I defer my payments?

All payments must be made by the scheduled semester due date.

What will happen if I don't pay my term balance by the due date?

If the balance has not been paid in full by the due date, or you have not finalized arrangements to pay your semester charges, then a past due hold will be placed on your student account, which will block all enrollment activity.

How can I get a copy of my student account information?

You may log on to CaneLink and print or save a copy of your student account activity.
